01

Working with us

Every project starts with a written proposal covering scope, deliverables, timeline and fees. Work begins once the proposal is approved and the initial invoice is paid. Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before we do it — no surprise line items.

02

Fees & payment

Projects are typically billed 50% on kickoff and 50% on delivery; larger engagements are split into milestones. Invoices are due within 14 days. If an invoice is seriously overdue we may pause work until the account is settled.

Quoted fees cover the deliverables in the proposal. Expenses such as typeface licences, stock imagery or printing are billed at cost with your prior approval.

03

Ownership & rights

On final payment, you own the final approved deliverables — logo, identity assets, guidelines and source files. We retain ownership of unused concepts and preliminary explorations.

We retain the right to show the finished work in our portfolio and in award submissions unless we agree otherwise in writing (for example under NDA).

04

Revisions & approvals

Each proposal specifies the number of revision rounds included. Feedback consolidated into a single set of notes per round keeps projects on schedule and on budget; additional rounds are available at our standard rates.

You're responsible for final proofreading and legal clearance (including trademark searches) of approved deliverables before they go into production.

05

Cancellation

Either side can end an engagement with written notice. You'll be invoiced for work completed up to that point, and we'll hand over everything you've paid for. Kickoff payments cover reserved studio time and are non-refundable.

06

Liability

We deliver careful, professional work, but our total liability on any project is capped at the fees you've paid us for it. We're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or business interruption.

This website and its content are provided as-is; we may update or remove content at any time.

07

The boring-but-necessary part

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, and any disputes belong to the courts of Lisbon. If one clause turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stand. If anything here is unclear, ask us before signing — we'd rather explain than litigate.
